Radical Cup successfully launched during the Easter races!

13 participants at the start of the first qualifying sessions for the new Radical Cup. A fun class that will attract more participants during the season. The Radical Cup races in a semi-endurance format. This weekend there are two games scheduled for each 50 minutes, each race is also a mandatory pitstop until the ingredients belongs. Both races are preceded by two qualifications. The order of the first qualifying determines the grid for race one and the other qualifying for race 2.

Junior Strous was not only fast on the Dutch motorway, but also at Zandvoort was the experienced rider in the first qualifying too quickly for his competing colleagues. Strous yesterday decided to buy a Radical. There was not enough time to test with the car, he came straight from the factory. Strous was enthusiastic about the car: "A nice car to drive. Bertus Sanders drove in the second qualifier to the Radical fastest time of the day and leaves for the second race from pole along with teammate Marc Koster. Junior Strous had no fresh set of new tires for the second run and just missed the pole. Kelvin Snoeks drove the third time.

The first round of the Radical Cup should be called successful. Despite several crashes and two safety car situations, it was a nice race to watch. After a quiet build-up finally Marc Koster and Bertus Sanders from Coronel Racing finish as victors before Kelvin Snoeks, who in the final phase still managed to pass Junior Strous. Three of the four English teams were turned off by clumsy crashes. Veteran Robert Wheldon went after the first reboot directly into the pits for his mandatory stop. Fellow countryman Roger Green still went off and hit the Radical with a lot of damage.

The second race of 50 minutes had a boring start. The tension started fifteen minutes before the end when the strong performing Junior Strous drive long around the tail of Marc Koster and finally in the Tarzancorner he beat him.

Also, the duo was still close to the wheels driven by the crashing Hugenholz English duo Green and Carver. It was then on the speed of Koster almost before the checkered flag was devoured by a booming Snoeks Kelvin.
