Vincent Smaal won the innaugral Austrian BMW 325 Challenge 30-9-2006 and 1-10-2006

New Zealand racecar driver Vincent "KIWI" Smaal has won the innaugral Austrian BMW 325 Challenge – Group N!  The final round has held at the famous Monza race track in Italy on the 30.9-01 Oct. To gather enough points to glinch the championship in the second to last race, the New Zealander needed to attain a 5th or better placing – he ended up in 2nd place after battling with fading brakes!!  After 16 races, he gained an impressive seven 1st places, four 2nd places and one 3rd place in the Group N class. The secret , he says is the INTRAX RS SUSPENSION.  "The INTRAX SUSPENSION was perfect straight out of the box, something I have not experienced during my long racing career since 1986" he says, "the car feels so well balanced, no understeer, no oversteer which contributes to very quick and consistant lap times and conserves tyres".  Now that Vincent has won the group N class, the immediate aim in 2007 is to compete in the Group A 325 Challenge or possibly move up to another touring car class – but only if the car is fitted with INTRAX SUSPENSION !!!
