Information and overhaul costs
Standard overhaul procedure
- Complete disassembly of the shock absorber
- Inspection of all components
- Reassembly with:
- New oil
- New seals
- New O-rings
- Testing on the shock absorber dyno
Most overhauls are completed within 5 to 7 working days, depending on planning and parts availability.
Revision of other shock absorber brands is also possible. Think of brands such as Koni, Öhlins, KW, AST, WP, Reiger, H&R, Tractive, Bilstein, Sachs, JRZ, Eibach, Moton, Proflex, Hyperpro, Fox, BC, and many others.
It is important that the cap through which the piston rod enters the shock absorber is screwed in, and not pressed or clamped. The is often the case with OEM (factory-installed) shock absorbers. Because of this, most OEM shock absorbers cannot be overhauled.

Additional work
If other components require replacement, we will always contact you first to discuss the options and costs.
If the shock absorbers are delivered in a heavily contaminated condition, we will be obliged to charge additional cleaning costs. Please ensure that the dampers are cleaned before shipment.
Urgent overhauls
Do you require an urgent repair or overhaul of your shock absorbers? Please contact us by phone and specify that it concerns an urgent overhaul.
Upon receipt, we will start immediately. Our goal is to complete and ship the shock absorbers the same day or by the next working day, depending on feasibility discussed during initial contact.

If shipping from outside the European Union, please attach a commercial invoice for customs purposes. State a minimal customs value (typically €5 per shock absorber) and clearly mention on the invoice:
“SHOCK ABSORBERS FOR REPAIR – NO COMMERCIAL VALUE.”
