Tuesday Juli 6th was again a competition for the DNRT for Autogas Racing Foundation. This time on the beautiful TT circuit Assen, a motor circuit with nice fast corners.<\/p>\n
Although it was the first time at Assen with this car, they started the day with a third training time. So a start from the second row!<\/p>\n
The first race went well and resulted in a third place finish.<\/p>\n
During the service was the drive shaft of the left sleeve torn, which just in time could be repaired temporarily.<\/p>\n
Second race was again a start from the third place on the second row. Also this race was excellent, giving them a second place came to ride. Were it not that in the last round at Assen showed that the fuel consumption is much higher at Assen than at Zandvoort. This led the TT in the penultimate round slowly to a halt. A good lesson, but unfortunately they cannot capitalize the second place.<\/p>\n
The next game will be back on familiar Zandvoort, this time on Saturday, August 7. We hope to see you there again to welcome.<\/p>\n

Dinsdag 6 juli is er weer gereden voor het DNRT kampioenschap door Stichting Autogas Racing. Dit maal op het mooie TT cicuit van Assen, een motorcircuit met mooie snelle bochten.<\/p>\n
Ondanks dat het de eerste keer was op Assen met deze auto, begon de dag goed met een 3e trainingstijd. Dus starten vanaf de tweede startrij!<\/p>\n
De eerste race verliep uitstekend en resulteerde ook in een finish op de 3e plaats.<\/p>\n
Tijdens de service bleek de aandrijfashoes van de linker aandrijfas gescheurd, welke nog maar net op tijd provisorisch gerepareerd kon worden.<\/p>\n
Tweede race was het dus wederom starten vanaf de 3e plaats op de tweede startrij. Ook deze race verliep uitstekend, waardoor ze op een 2e plaats kwamen te rijden. Ware het niet dat in de voorlaatste ronde bleek dat het brandstofverbruik op Assen een stuk hoger is dan op Zandvoort. Hierdoor kwam de TT in de voorlaatste ronde langzaam tot stilstand. Een goede leerschool, maar hierdoor helaas de 2e plaats niet kunnen verzilveren. <\/p>\n
De volgende wedstrijd zal weer op het vertrouwde Zandvoort zijn, deze keer op Zaterdag 7 Augustus.
